Taj Mahal
Jonathan invited the youth group to join him at an Indian Restaurant, The Taj Mahal. We weren't sure what to expect! Jonathan did a great job of explaining what we might encounter before we even left the church. At the restaurant, Jonathan did all the ordering. It's a good thing because we had no idea what we were eating.
We had Papadi Chatt, Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Curry, Baingan Bhartha, Dal Fry, a wonderful Basmati Rice, Mango Lassi, and Gulab Jamun for dessert.
Yumm!!
The boys pretty much ate the chicken. Katlynn gagged on the spinach curry. Kiersten ate 3 whole Gulab Jamun balls herself!! She has earned the nickname Gulab Girl.

First Party of 2010
We met for a fun, and profitable, evening at Leichty's. Despite the snow we had a great turnout for food and games. The grand prize winner with the most points at the end of the evening was, (drumroll please, Jacob) Conner Hoagland. Conner took home an ipod touch!!! The remaining prizes weren't too shabby, either; they included gas cards, an i-tunes card, taco bell coupons, a starbuck's card, and numerous gifts of candy. I believe everyone went home with something at the end of the night. Thanks to Phil and Renell for hosting and purchasing all the prizes.

Progressive Supper
We started our evening with Amazing Appetizers at Ken & Betty's. We had a very special dip for the veggies, just ask McKinzie or Jacob to tell you about it!!
The next stop was at Ken & Louise's for our Super Salad course. We try to pace ourselves, knowing that we have two more stops to make before our evening is through.
Our Marvelous Main Dish stop was at Wes & Cara's house. They also invited Ivan & Monie to join us. We were served a delicious meal of rib tips, scalloped potatoes, corn, and rolls. Mmmmm! We debate jogging around before we head to our next stop!
Our last stop for Delicious Desserts was at Jim & Marie's. We enjoyed the food and the lively conversation. Jonathan closed the evening by leading us in some Christmas carols.
We thank the couples who were willing to open their homes and host us for the evening. We learned many interesting things about our hosts and we hope they learned a little bit about us. Although we were a small group, we thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the fellowship at each stop.
